CASCADES TISSUE GROUP

The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America. The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.

Your challenge!

Under the supervisor of the project manager, the maintenance project lead will be called upon to accompany US plants in optimizing maintenance and operational efficiency. You will play an advisory role with the teams to standardize methods and implement good practices. This position is contracted for one year.

Your responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the maintenance project lead will be:

  • Support the deployment of the maintenance portion of a lean manufacturing program at plants located in US
  • Accompanying plants to implement work instructions and maintenance planning and scheduling standards
  • Accompany managers in identifying, analyzing issues, and implementing best practices
  • Support the corporate expert and maintenance teams in standardizing procedures
  • Support managers in the deployment of continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in problem solving for the elimination of outages
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate information to teams
  • Supporting teams in achieving goals
  • Ensure the adherence of the various strategic units.

Your strengths:

The maintenance project lead must have the following
Qualifications:

  • Have technical or academic training in a relevant field
  • Have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in industrial maintenance
  • Have a Lean certification (an asset)
  • Have implemented or participated in the implementation of a management system linked to operational efficiency
  • Have a good understanding of recognized process management and continuous improvement methods and problem-solving tools
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize activities to meet organizational objectives
  • Show mobilizing leadership, rigor and autonomy
  • Be customer oriented and prioritize teamwork.

  • Support as a project management lead, the development and implementation of the business strategies of business partners, team, and unit

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
